Rockbot MCP server
Connect an AI assistant to your Rockbot account with the Model Context Protocol (MCP). The Rockbot MCP server lets you ask about your locations, zones, and account access in plain language.
Rockbot hosts the server with Streamable HTTP. Use this URL in your MCP client:
text
https://mcp.rockbot.com/mcpWhen your client prompts you to connect, sign in to your Rockbot account and approve access. Your Rockbot user needs MCP access to at least one account or location, and Rockbot must enable MCP for that account. The server limits results to the accounts and locations you can access. If you can't connect because access is unavailable, contact Rockbot Support.
Connect with Claude
In Claude Desktop or Claude on the web:
- Open Connectors in Claude's settings and select Add custom connector.
- Name it Rockbot and enter
https://mcp.rockbot.com/mcpas the server URL. - Choose to sign in, then follow the Rockbot sign-in and approval prompts.
- Enable the Rockbot connector in your conversation's Connectors menu.
On Claude Team or Enterprise, an organization owner must add the custom connector before members can connect their accounts. See Claude's custom connector instructions for plan-specific steps.

You can also configure the same server with the Codex command-line tool:
sh
codex mcp add rockbot --url https://mcp.rockbot.com/mcp
codex mcp login rockbotCodex shares MCP configuration across its desktop app, command-line tool, and IDE extension. See the Codex MCP documentation for more options.
What you can ask
The current tools only read data. Try prompts such as:
- “Which Rockbot zones are offline?”
- “What changed at the downtown location in the last seven days?”
- “List the users who can access the Rockbot account and flag anyone who hasn't signed in recently.”
The server can list zones and their connection status, show a location's recent change log, and list account users for access reviews. Account user lists require user management permission. An access review prompt is also available in clients that support MCP prompts.
